Couple of very interesting runners at tomorrows barrier trials…

Barrier trials at the Gold Coast & Deagon tomorrow morning weather permitting as there’s plenty of rain forecast.

In Heat 1 at Deagon Lindsay Gough’s RIGHT OR WRONG takes his first step on a Winter Carnival path, showed plenty winning three straight in Jan/Feb last year before enduring a wide run yet still putting in a huge performance at his final start before being tipped out. Gough has always held Doomben Cup ambitions with this lightly raced promising type.

The Gold Coast plays host to 11 Heats with most interest centred around Heat 4 which sees the highly fancied Country Championship contender PERFECT DARE go around, he strolled home in his heat at Grafton earlier this month winning by over 5 lengths. He & Goulburn Qualifier winner Pumpkin Pie dominate pre-post markets for the 400K race at Royal Randwick on April 1.
