Ready to thrill this Brisbane Racing Carnival – UBET!
TattsBet and the Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) today announced their new partnership for the 2015 Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival, under the wagering operator’s new brand, UBET.
UBET will take on the naming rights sponsorship of the opening day to the 2015 Carnival and the Group 1 BTC Cup race.
UBET will also be acknowledged as the Official Wagering Partner of the Carnival, with presence on all four racedays and across several non-raceday Carnival events.
Incorporating both the Group 1 UBET BTC Cup and Group 1 Bundaberg Distilling Co. Doomben Cup, the UBET Cup Carnivale Day on May 9, is shaping up to be one of the most thrilling racing days of the year, under the revised Carnival schedule.
TattsBet Chief Operating Officer, Barrie Fletton, said the sponsorship was further demonstration of the business’ commitment to Queensland’s premier racing event.
“We’re thrilled to be continuing our partnership with the BRC and the Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival and this is a fantastic opportunity for us to bring our new brand to life in our home state,” Mr Fletton said.
“There is always a level of anticipation and excitement around the first day of the Carnival and with two Group 1s on the card, the UBET Cup Carnivale Day will provide an extra thrill for punters this year.”
BRC Chairman Mr Neville Bell praised the support of new UBET brand in what would also be a year of firsts for Queensland’s premier racing carnival
“This year will see an exciting change to the format of the Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival with all four days to be held at Doomben including three of the nation’s great sprints which culminate in the $2 million AAMI Stradbroke handicap over 1350m on June 6,” Mr Bell said.
“Hosting the Carnival at Doomben this year has given us the opportunity to work with our partners such as UBET to greatly enhance to customer experience with world class hospitality, entertainment and activations across all four days of the carnival.
“The Brisbane Racing Club has developed a strong partnership with TattsBet including a major upgrade to the on-track wagering experience for raceday patrons at Doomben and Eagle Farm racecourse and we look forward to working to continuing that relationship with the launch of UBET in Queensland.”
Australia’s first UBET store will open at Merthyr Road, New Farm, in early April, with a national UBET launch to follow shortly thereafter.
