Deagon barrier trial snapshot 27/1/15

Not a big session at Deagon last Tuesday with the 8 Heats only consisting of 37 runners.

Undoubtedly the highlight was Aimee’s dominant win in Heat 5, she led throughout to beat her rivals by just over 2 lengths. We haven’t seen her since the Melbourne spring when unplaced in a couple of Stakes races at Caulfield, she was a very smart 2yo who can return to the winners circle this campaign.

Locally trained gelding Safecracker scored the biggest win of the morning romping home by 7.5 lengths in Heat 7, he’s only had the 2 starts to date for a couple of 3rd’s at the Sunshine Coast, based on that & the trial win he won’t be a Maiden for too much longer.
